With the special exhibition “Ikebana Meets Manga,” we are jointly celebrating the 70th anniversary of Ikebana International. The exhibition is being created by the Ikebana International Vienna Chapter and Alice Hoffmann, in cooperation with Magic Flowers and featuring Otto Winkler’s abstract work “Sky.”
Manga and ikebana blend tradition and modernity in different ways. Both art forms originated in Japan, are constantly evolving, and invite us to rediscover beauty, creativity, and the harmony between humanity and nature.
